1. Scope & Acceptance

These Terms of Sale govern all purchases made on www.the-wok-house.co.uk, operated by The Wok House. By placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Sale in full. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.

2. Products

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and specifications on our website are accurate. However, slight variations may occur. Product images are for illustrative purposes and may differ slightly from the actual item. All products are subject to availability.

3. Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.
  • We also accept payments in EUR, CAD, and AUD. Presentment currency conversions are handled at checkout and may vary based on exchange rates.
  • We reserve the right to amend prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time of purchase.

4. Payment

  • Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, Amazon Pay, Diners Club, Discover, and Klarna.
  • All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments, which is PCI DSS compliant. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Your order will not be dispatched until full payment has been received and verified.
  • If paying with Klarna, the terms and conditions of Klarna apply in addition to these Terms of Sale.

5. Order Process

  1. Add to basket: select the items you wish to purchase.
  2. Checkout: enter your delivery and payment details.
  3. Order confirmation: you will receive an email confirming your order. This email constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect fraud, if the product is unavailable, or if there has been a pricing error.

6. Delivery

Delivery terms, estimated times, carriers, and shipping rates are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery of the item to the address you specified.

7. Right of Withdrawal & Returns

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason. 8. Legal Guarantees

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all goods must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality: free from defects, safe, and durable.
  • Fit for purpose: suitable for their intended use.
  • As described: matching the description, sample, or model shown.

If goods do not meet these standards, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These statutory rights are in addition to, and not affected by, our Return & Refund Policy.

9. Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. By placing an order, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described therein.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and product designs — is the property of The Wok House and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. Unauthorised use is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Wok House shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your purchase or use of our products. Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Force Majeure

The Wok House shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, or disruptions to postal services.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. We encourage customers to contact us first to resolve any issues amicably before initiating formal proceedings.
